We did a lot of in-state travel this year and Jack’s been quite the trooper considering the different rooms, beds, peoples, routines, and more that he’s dealt with. For this trip we trekked up to Sonoma for my cousin Bret and his now wife Sara’s wedding.
Jack survived, or maybe better yet we survived his first flight which was luckily only a 45 minute trip from Burbank. The key was that we utilized family boarding to call dibs on the last row of the flight and then we scored when Bryce and Nick were able to secure the row in front of us. It was a much needed defense as Jack didn’t really care for cartoons, toys, or books for more than a couple minutes so we needed all 8 hands on the trip up.
Once up there we with the parentals as well as my Dad’s cousin Neffra and her hubs Alan for a great dinner at Hopmonk Tavern who have an amazing outdoor space. The 9 of us all scored a great air b-n-b which I’ll hopefully get up to to the blog in the next day or two.
